Mark Gostine leads a dual existence as a practicing physician with his own patient load and as the partner in a medical business reaching across several states. GRAND RAPIDS — Being a native of Detroit, Mark Gostine fully expected to return to his hometown once he finished his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Michigan in 1984. "But at the time, there were no good jobs in anesthesiology in Detroit," he said.
